Lilith the fifth general, my own character I created to play a campaign settled in Forgotten Realms. The campaing is finished Although I'm still continuing the adventure along with my fiancee, I kinda miss the old times with the whole group and all the other generals. Lilith's curently looking for her adopted child and her lover. Dammit Loa wait for meeeeee (this is what Lilith's soul is screaming) EDIT- This work of mine won a special award as one of the best OCs pictures in Thank you very much! Feel free to watch all the awards in this blog: [link] And fave if you like what you see
She's a half-drow- her mother was a dark elf and her father was human. She's named Lilith because she's the daughter of the proud night- her mother was called Raeh'li Isto, which means "proud night". There's lots of symbols here:
She's wearing her mother's outfit It's a dress with sleeves and skirt made of spider webs- a sign of her mother possession over her and her life. This also reminds the connection of Raeh'li Isto with the Spider Queen Lolth, who is both loved and hated by her. Lilith hates the goddess by the way, she believes the world is ruled by the balance between Selune and Shar. There are many pearls here- they should be purple, but they didn't work out well in that way, so I simply put a shiny purple glow around them. Purple pearls are the symbol of her family, in fact his brother Drathir also wears them. She's wearing a special necklace here- a necklace she's recently acquired in a gnome village. In the second part of her adventure she's lost both her "V" (fifth) sign and the purple pearl her mother gave her, so he asked a person to forge her a new necklace with a "V". She's holding two jewels: the orange one contains a legendary tiger she called "Vanda" (elven language, it means something like "promise"); the grey-white one contains a hellcat named "Valm" (drowish, it means "obligation, bond"). There are purple ribbons on her corset- these are her father's present. She's always been very good at playing the piano, and her mother also taught her to sing and dance well. Since her father loved watching at her dancing, he bought her some ribbons to use while doing so. The moon reminds her brother and the fact she's the daughter of the night. In the end, the fire. She's used to take revenge of the people who offended her- and she was taught by her mother to use the fire to destroy and purify. She once burnt a house in Neverwinter because its owners offended her.
I'd like to put some more psichology about her here, but I'm afraid the comment would become way too long. I hope I'll soon draw and write about her again, since I loved her so much. You know, it's quite strange looking her old drawings. I can't quite believe this one was made about a year ago. *facepalm* I think I've improved a lot. Anyway, you can also read this piece about her or view this detail of the face Aww, Lilith is me, but I'm going to miss her once the adventure will be over...
Love the illustration. The only thing I could say is that I feel the moon takes a little bit of impact from the face, my suggestion would be to place it on the other side so that face stands strong within the composition.
Thank you kindly! And I think I see what you mean! I was kind of scared or putting the moon on the other side, afraid of leaving an empty space, but I think you're right!I'll keep this in mind
Very nice! I really like what you've done with the glowing flowers on her. You did a great job with creating a sheer effect on the cream clothing. However, when it comes to the red highlights, they seem a bit off. I can tell that the orange jewel is glowing but the light from is it is dominating the glow from the grey jewel which doesn't seem to shine as far as the orange one. Other than that you did a marvelous job, especially with her facial expression. It's subtle but appears to hold deep emotion.

It took me an insane amount of hours of work; I might re-do this in the future as it's one year old already
Have a lovely day!
