The second part of the order for ~Lycaenion-Scribbles- a fast portrait of her character Nymatar, a sorcerer of Vhaeraun.

This kind of work costs 18USD, but recieved a 30% discount because it was part of a three-portraits order =3

I was asked to draw him seen from the front, with an excited look and a large, cheerful smile on his face. He had an accident during his youth (not that he's old- he's like a 26-27 years old human) that caused him some slight issues.
Despite this characteristic, he's not smiling being malicious or evil- he's just happy, and maybe thinking about being your friend

Unlike Mourn, he's a typical noble drow, with a long pointy face and high cheekbones.
I personally think I'm improving- at least that's what I think looking at his smile. I loved drawing his teeth

This is wonderful, and the comments are fun to read as well. Nymatar has certainly made himself a lot of friends both inside and out of his world. xD

In his more lucid moments, Lilith, he does have a tendency to actively prove he's nice – he discovered Mourn and Pellan in the slums of his home city (at different times) and it took a while for him to get them to understand he wasn't just another noble looking to exploit them. Now he has a level of trust in them that most drow would spit out their drinks at – the good part is, they return it.

Rilwen isn't kidding about his friendliness, though. It's hard to exaggerate.

I love this piece! Nymatar's a favourite of mine to hear about, and this picture makes him look very friendly. And slightly crazy. XD I like the way you've done his eyelashes, too - it might just be men, but they almost make it look like there's twinkles in his eyes.

I actually haven't seen much of him myself >.> But Lycaenion and Rilwen pass on tidbits of his adventures, and he does come across as quite a sweetie. ^^

He's so much fun, and the expression you've given him really makes him look like he's spotted somebody to, er... befriend. (By which of course I mean be enthusiastic at until they're too confused to tell him to go away, and quite possibly flirting like mad.

I think my Lilith would scared like hell of him at first- since her mother taught her dark elves are scary and evil

- but then they'd be great friends
